As the wind had dropped Ian suggested taking his Flexifoil Bullet 3.5 to the Kite Lagoon and having a 'drag' around (as he hadn't packed his land board!). Jane was not too keen at first as her feet were a bit tender but after she had walked around a bit and driven the spines deeper so they stopped hurting (ouch!) she said she'd give it a go.

We all had a good go at launching, landing, being dragged, running after and generally having fun with the kite. Ian demo'd how to get the twists out of the lines by pirouetting on the sand very daintily. Jane demo'd how to kill the kite by letting go of everything and squealing... don't know whether the squeals help or not :P

Sarah says 'Thanks Ian - we may be buying a kite soon...'
